By hollington, the garments are delivered unfinished (jacket sleeves and pants hems). The costs generated by the fitting will be at your expense. The setting to lengths can in no case be organized by email or by phone. However, if you choose the "store pick-up" option, you will be offered the fitting to your own measurements (excluding sales periods) – and we will even offer you (good) coffee!

the fabric

This trousers is cut in a ivory stretch linen & cotton textured canvas. This canvas was woven in the vicinity of Florence. The initial idea was to start with a hopsack canvas that was a bit rustic and then make it more sophisticated. The yarns used are therefore thinner, the weave tighter to obtain a very sophisticated burlap texture. So here is a light and stretchy canvas with a soft hand and a beautiful ‘tombé’. The ivory color looks great, and the fabric is really classy.

the cut

Our Siza trousers with a flat front and low waist are tailored by a Portuguese specialist of dress uniforms and suits. He has been excelling at it for over forty years.

The cut of these Italian trousers is a plunging cut i.e., higher behind than in front. This helps prevent the ‘uncovered buttocks’ effect. It is also more comfortable if you wear your pants with the crotch rather low: they fit well on the hips. Their traditional manufacture will allow it to be enlarged or tightened easily.

The trousers close with a triple button fastening. This may seem tedious, but you can be sure that they will stay in place... The waist has six loops so your belt will not move.

The one back pockets is deep, double piped (for style) and buttoned to secure the absent-minded among you. The side bevel pockets are wide enough to accommodate large hands.

We have chosen moderately narrow ankle opening (19 cm) so that it is easy to put on, but also to flatter your figure.

The friction points are covered with cotton bias and the set is lined up to mid-thigh when in wool.

So here are trousers with an Italian cut (i.e., narrow) that have the comfort of a more traditional cut.
