The shirt shown here is made of cotton finely striated, with a light relief. Its extremely soft feel is obtained by grinding the canvas: after dyeing, an emery cylinder "scratches" the surface to lift the fibres. It is a fluffy, caressing fabric with a style that is both urban and elegantly rustic. Its colour is rare in our collections: the background is buff, with touches of hazelnut and grey-blue, and the chocolate stripe is marked. Pair it with green or saffron pants!

Here is the hollington shirt in its classic collar version. It was designed by Patric Hollington shortly after the opening of his first boutique in 1974. His jackets and waistcoats, at the origin of the brand, finally found a companion to match them ...

Why do you adopt it so easily? First for its comfort and its straight cut, which allows you to combine it with different styles of clothing. Some of you wear it dressed up, tucked into the trousers; others prefer to wear it over the belt, like a polo shirt.

Either way, you never feel tight thanks to the back pleat that allows for great freedom of movement.

Its simple, unstructured collar, matching the hollington line, is flexible. This means that unlike an Italian collar, which is stiff and high, it is very lightly interfaced. The height of its collar stand, the same as that of our Nehru collared shirts and jackets, however, allows you to wear the tie if you wish.

The button placket of a hollington shirt opens from the neck to the middle of the body, so you must put it on through your head. But you will find that once seated, there is no risk of the fabric pulling on the button placket and revealing a stomach that you do not want to show.

As for the sleeves, their button placket at the wrist includes two buttons. Indeed, there is nothing more annoying than losing a button, right? You are now ready for that eventuality.
