The cotton of this shirt was woven by Albini, a great house of fabrics for shirts: their quality of poplin is irreproachable. The cotton threads undergo various treatments which make them ever more flexible, silkier and above all easier to iron. The pattern is no ordinary bayadere. If its stripes alternate in rhythm, their range of colours is unusual. It combines large duck blue, parma and old-gold stripes with finer stripes in muted colours, melted on an off-white background.
