By hollington, the garments are delivered unfinished (jacket sleeves and pants hems). The costs generated by the fitting will be at your expense. The setting to lengths can in no case be organized by email or by phone. However, if you choose the "store pick-up" option, you will be offered the fitting to your own measurements (excluding sales periods) – and we will even offer you (good) coffee!

the fabric

This Megève jacket is made from a very lightweight red pure linen fabric. A Hollingon classic, this high-quality linen—favoured by the luxury ready-to-wear sector—creases less than average. It is highly durable and comfortable to wear in hot weather. Used for clothing since ancient times, linen is a prestigious, silky fibre produced in limited quantities. Durable, absorbent and hypoallergenic, it is the ultimate eco-friendly fabric: growing flax requires no fertiliser or watering; rain is sufficient. Furthermore, the plant is transformed into thread using natural processes (retting and scutching) that consume very little energy. The beautiful red colour was conceived in Prato by Nicola and Stefano, two great colourists.

the cut

The Megève jacket is only a few seasons old, but you immediately adopted it for its impeccable cut and fit, and it is now part of the hollington wardrobe.

Many of you said you were won over by its high quality and the implemented know-how. This jacket is 100% Italian made: from the cutting of the pattern to the hand-finished details, including the assembly of the fabric pieces one by one.

It is a jacket with an officer collar, a stand-up collar to which a narrow band of fabric is added all around the neckline. Its cut is slightly fitted and has a slit at the back for added comfort.

You who pay great attention to details, have you noticed that its buttons are made of natural material? They are made of horn or corozo, a vegetable ivory extracted from the endosperm of the palm fruit.

The big new feature is the three external piped pockets – and piped only: practical for travel, cycling, life! You no longer need a bag, and your essentials accompany you with great elegance. These front pockets are also an aesthetic detail, with their architectural references as well as their practical appeal. Inside, four zipped pockets and two pen pockets complete the practical yet chic ensemble.

Sober, refined, with hyper-contemporary details: the Megève jacket takes its name form the hyper select ski spot and does flatters you on a walk, a formal occasion or a smart aperitif on the terrace.
