This Bari trousers is cut from "fabric washed" stretch indigo denim. This denim adds a touch of elastane to cotton to increase wearing comfort. The weft is black, which reinforces the depth of the indigo colour. It is washed before manufacture, delicately enough for its colour to remain very intense and acquire a patina with use. Neither too heavy nor too thin, it is a canvas that is suitable for all circumstances: in the city or in the countryside, at work or during your leisure time.
These Bari trousers are made in The Marches, central Italy. Why did we choose this workshop? Because Giuseppe and his mom – whom everyone calls ‘La Mamma’ – have been producing low-rise trousers for over thirty years. Each piece is therefore the sum of experience, high standards and know-how acquired over a long period of time. By choosing this model, you are choosing a high-quality product made with care, with many details designed to make your life easier.
The cut of these Italian trousers is a plunging cut i.e., higher behind than in front. This helps prevent the ‘uncovered buttocks’ effect. It is also more comfortable if you wear your pants with the crotch rather low: they fit well on the hips. Their traditional manufacture will allow it to be enlarged or tightened easily.
The trousers close with a triple button fastening. This may seem tedious, but you can be sure that they will stay in place... The waist has eight loops so your belt will not move.
The two back pockets are deep, double piped (for style) and buttoned to secure the absent-minded among you. The side bevel pockets are wide enough to accommodate large hands. Inside each pocket is a small secret pocket for your change. You will no longer lose your coins while sitting down!
We have chosen moderately narrow ankle opening (19 cm) so that it is easy to put on, but also to flatter your figure. The bottom of the trousers is not finished, you can have them put to your exact size.
The friction points are covered with cotton bias and the set is lined up to mid-thigh when in wool.
So here are trousers with an Italian cut (i.e., narrow) that have the comfort of a more traditional cut.
