The Jules trousers pictured here are cut from “fabric washed” stretch indigo denim. This denim adds a touch of elastane to cotton to increase wearing comfort. The weft is black, which reinforces the depth of the indigo colour. It is washed before manufacture, delicately enough for its colour to remain very intense and acquire a patina with use. Neither too heavy nor too thin, it is a canvas that is suitable for all circumstances: in the city or in the countryside, at work or during your leisure time.
Our city trousers with a flat front and high waist are tailored by a Portuguese specialist of dress uniforms and suits. He has been excelling at it for over forty years.
The ankle opening is 22-cm wide, which is very comfortable. The trousers also allow space for calf, tight and hip movements and hug the stomach: one does not feel them while walking. The legs are not hemmed so you can have them fit to your exact size.
The trousers are closed by a button tab and a hook keeping the front part in place. They hold two back pockets, deep and flapped, and two side pockets with a large diagonal opening. Not much fancy here, but a comfortable cut and a traditional manufacturing that makes alterations easier. That’s it for the practical chapter.
As for style, it is a modern interpretation of traditional city trousers. Their waist is reasonably high and fits every morphology, and the flap pockets give contrast to the back side.Heavy fabrics like large-rib corduroy are a perfect match.
