Shortly after opening its doors in 1937, the Pantherella brand dedicated itself to manufacturing novelty socks for men. Produced by a bespoke machine, their creations are lightweight and have no uncomfortable seams. Pantherella uses only the finest merino wool to make these socks. It is combed in Italy to obtain a high quality thread. For these socks, we chose an incredibly fine merino wool thread (19.5 microns) made in Italy. This thinness of the yarn gives your socks an exceptional durability, much appreciated for everyday use. They are knitted on a 200-needles machine! Very soft thanks to the selection of the longest wool fibres, they also offer excellent thermoregulatory properties. Indeed, merino wool is the favourite of outdoor athletes: it is very warm but does not "overheat", and it effectively wicks moisture from the skin.
