By hollington, the garments are delivered unfinished (jacket sleeves and pants hems). The costs generated by the fitting will be at your expense. The setting to lengths can in no case be organized by email or by phone. However, if you choose the "store pick-up" option, you will be offered the fitting to your own measurements (excluding sales periods) – and we will even offer you (good) coffee!

the fabric

Red and black checked wool fabric (often called “lumberjack”) is a must-have in any man’s wardrobe. Its history is rooted in workwear. Our wool fabric is woven in Tuscany, at Stefano. Warm, heavy and sturdy, yet not stiff, thanks to the expertise of Italian finishers. You will love wearing your clothes, and day after day they will become even more comfortable. With this fabric, you will carry the great outdoors with you on all your adventures, whether in the city and the countryside.

Personally, red and black checks are one of my madeleines in clothing. Lumberjacks, grunge, workers, America, the long haul, Filson, all these images in a single pattern. And they also echo the codes of the Bauhaus. In a way, they are the quintessence of the Hollington spirit. To be worn with velvet, denim and good cotton fabrics.

In case you enjoy carpenter collars but don’t know hollington’s Odéon jacket yet, just try it on and you will not be able to go without it anymore.

The jacket is made 100% in Italy, and its carpenter collar is directly assembled to the garment. You can choose to turn it up on cold days for a urban, James Dean style. If your style is more classical, imitate Rodin during the bell époque and put it down in a painter fashion.

As you may know, playing with various pockets is a distinctive feature of Patric Hollington’s design. This jacket even hides two secret ones. Invisible, they are sewed inside the flat pockets, like in a saddlebag. Watch the picture closer! The four inside zipped pockets are very deep in order to fit all of your everyday tools: notebook, passport, wallet, handbook, watercolours, smartphone…

Odéon jacket’s cut is slightly fit, but Patric kept it comfortable by adding a back slit that gives you a great freedom of movement. One can wear it over a shirt for a smart look or over a thick Irish sweater in more relaxed times.
