By hollington, the garments are delivered unfinished (jacket sleeves and pants hems). The costs generated by the fitting will be at your expense. The setting to lengths can in no case be organized by email or by phone. However, if you choose the "store pick-up" option, you will be offered the fitting to your own measurements (excluding sales periods) – and we will even offer you (good) coffee!

the fabric

Traditionally, hopsack linen is a bit rustic. Well, not this one. The black is dense, deep, and the weave very even. It almost looks like a very fine rib of mail. But the canvas is soft, enveloping, and thanks to the hopsack effect this fabric breathes while keeping a beautiful hold. The linen is heavy and the yarns of good quality. Here's a linen that will crinkle just the right amount. All the good taste and humor of Stefano, a fan of jazz and beautiful stories.

the cut

If you don't know the Tyrol jacket and its Nehru collar, try it on and you won't be able to live without it! It was designed by Patric Hollington in the early 80s and immediately became an icon of the brand.

What makes this jacket so easily recognizable are its three patch pockets attached by an exposed seam. At hollington, this seam is double and symmetrical to assert the workwear signature even when the fabric is not a work fabric at all.

Its distinctive Nehru collar is remarkable but remains true to classic, clean lines. It speaks of refinement and modernity.

Originally, the Tyrol cut is straight. But, in recent years, many of you have asked us for a slightly more fitted cut. We listened to you, and you now find two versions of the jacket in our collections: the regular version and the fitted version. But the latter does not give up comfort. It has a back pleat which allows great freedom of movement.

Italian artisan quality is inscribed in every seam of this jacket, assembled with precision. Each finish is made by hand in human-scale factories, highlighting hollington's commitment to excellence and traditional know-how.

Whether for a special occasion or a casual day, this jacket is the king's choice. Its timeless design and impeccable details continue to spark enthusiasm season after season, year after year. Thank you!
