This is THE FAVOURITE SWEATER from the Inis Meáin collections, the company created by Tarlach de Blácam to combat the desertification of his island off the coast of Ireland. This mock neck sweater is new to the Inis Meáin collections. After various trials and developments that began several seasons ago, it is sure to become one of the brand's must-have items. Knitted in reverse stockinette stitch, it allows for remarkable colour combinations, where the stripes intertwine in a subtle way. The ribbing design is refined - it can be found on the cuffs, collar and bottom of the body. The wool is dense and tightly knitted to keep out the draughts; it is soft and does not itch. It is made from premium cashmere and merino wool sourced from the traditional Italian producer Filati Biagioli Modesto, which complies with the strictest European environmental standards by using only organic dyes. Here, in a delicate blend of brown and black, multicoloured speckled, the stripes add texture to this beautiful knit. Designed, manufactured and finished by hand in the Inis Meáin workshop - a true Aran of Aran chosen for our Hollington customers.
