By hollington, the garments are delivered unfinished (jacket sleeves and pants hems). The costs generated by the fitting will be at your expense. The setting to lengths can in no case be organized by email or by phone.
However, if you choose the "store pick-up" option, you will be offered the fitting to your own measurements (excluding sales periods) – and we will even offer you (good) coffee!

the fabric

Red and black checked wool fabric (often called “lumberjack”) is a must-have in any man’s wardrobe. Its history is rooted in workwear. Our wool fabric is woven in Tuscany, at Stefano. Warm, heavy and sturdy, yet not stiff, thanks to the expertise of Italian finishers. You will love wearing your clothes, and day after day they will become even more comfortable. With this fabric, you will carry the great outdoors with you on all your adventures, whether in the city and the countryside.

Personally, red and black checks are one of my madeleines in clothing. Lumberjacks, grunge, workers, America, the long haul, Filson, all these images in a single pattern. And they also echo the codes of the Bauhaus. In a way, they are the quintessence of the Hollington spirit. To be worn with velvet, denim and good cotton fabrics.

the cut

Our waistcoats are anything but the poor cousin of a jacket. We've been designing them with the same level of care since 1974, ensuring they offer just as much utility. And that’s saying something—this model is a true Swiss army knife, cleverly disguised beneath the clean lines of its construction.

Its cut mirrors that of a classic three-piece suit waistcoat: it fits close to the body and, without sleeves, allows full freedom of movement. For the best experience, we often recommend choosing one size down from your usual jacket size. If you wear a size 52 jacket, try the waistcoat in size 50.

The hollington waistcoat features a V-neckline, traditionally worn with the bottom button left undone. Its key features include a back made from the same fabric as the front, and no plait to maintain hollington’s streamlined aesthetic. It also has two side slits to ensure optimal freedom of movement, and its slightly plunging cut is flattering to the silhouette.

Inside, you’ll find a zipped chest pocket large enough for your wallet. On the outside, there are three stitched-on patch pockets, deep enough to carry everything you need—and so smartly designed, no one will guess how much you're carrying in such style.
