By hollington, the garments are delivered unfinished (jacket sleeves and pants hems). The costs generated by the fitting will be at your expense. The setting to lengths can in no case be organized by email or by phone. However, if you choose the "store pick-up" option, you will be offered the fitting to your own measurements (excluding sales periods) – and we will even offer you (good) coffee!

the fabric

These Siza trousers are crafted from pure linen. Latte or café crème? Cloud or hazelnut? The choice is yours. At Hollington, we call it café au lait, in reference to its Italian origins. Its matt finish is the hallmark of this linen fabric. Dense yet supple, they drape beautifully and their colour is one of those that goes with everything, from pristine white to the season’s deepest shades. And what about the creases? Patric Hollington himself would tell you that they crease with elegance – and he’d be right. Warning: once you try them, you’ll never look back.

the cut

Behind its clean lines, the Siza trousers are a small masterpiece of textile design. Crafted in Portugal by a tailoring specialist with over four decades of expertise, they have all the makings of a true classic.

Their cut is a plunging cut i.e., higher behind than in front —a clever tailoring trick that avoids the dreaded “plumber’s smile” often seen in non-high-rise trousers. It also improves comfort and helps the trousers stay in place on the hips. The traditional construction makes it easy to alter the waist if needed.

The trousers close with a triple button fastening. This may seem tedious, but you can be sure that they will stay in place. Add to that six sturdy belt loops to keep your belt secure.

With a 19 cm leg opening, they’re easy to slip on while flattering the leg’s natural line. Areas prone to friction on the inner leg are reinforced with cotton binding, and the wool version is half-lined to the thigh for extra softness and structure.

A buttoned double-welt back pocket keeps your valuables safe, while the slanted side pockets are generously sized to fit larger hands. In total: three well-thought-out pockets to carry your essentials. In short, the Siza trousers combine the sharpness of a slim cut with the comfort of a traditional design.
